A ball that is blocked by the batsmens body and the umpire deems that the ball would have hit the wickets if the body did not block the ball. In this case the batsmen is out due to LegBeforeWicket.
Economy rate -- [General]
The average number of runs scored against a bowler per over. Lower is better
Inning -- [General]
In a test match each team has 2 innings. One inning is complete when there are 10 outs from one team or the team declares.
Hattrick -- [General]
When a bowler gets 3 batsmen out in 3 consecutive balls.
Googly -- [General]
When a leg spinner bowls a ball that goes straight or turns a little bit toward the off side. This is a surprise weapon for a leg spinner as the batsmen is expecting the ball to turn one way but it turns the other way.
Draw -- [General]
In a test match, which is played for 5 days if no winner was determined then that match is said to be a draw.
Caughtout -- [General]
When a fielder catches the ball after it has been hit by the batsmen and the ball has not bounced on the ground. In this case the batsmen is deemed to be caughtout.
Catch -- [General]
When a fielder catches the ball after it has been hit by the batsmen and the ball has not bounced on the ground. In this case the batsmen is deemed to be out.
Allout -- [General]
When the whole team is out then this phrase is used. For example : India was allout for 250 runs.
Full Toss -- [General]
A ball that reaches the batsmen without bouncing on the pitch first. A full toss ball near the batsmens head or chest is also classified as a beamer
